Kim Lecoyer is a founding member of KARAMAH EU and serves as its President since the foundation in 2013. She is in charge of the overall supervision and management of (most of) Karamah EU’s projects. While having experience as a researcher in the field of human rights on the one hand, on the other hand, she also has a strong practice in organizational development and project management, acquired through her professional experience in the private sector as well as in the education and research sector. Between 2011 and 2015 she was for instance in charge, as a principal researcher, for the administrative and financial follow-up of a major research project (with a budget of over 400.000€) and the coordination of all project-related activities. Kim holds several academic degrees, notably in Social Psychology, World Religions, Arabic and Islamic Studies and Law. She is currently finalizing a Ph.D. in Human Rights Law.
