Rufaida Al-Habash

Dr Rufaida al Habash is the president of al Andalus Institute for Islamic Studies in Hama, Syria. She holds a BA in Islamic law from Damascus University, a BA in Da’wa Studies from Abo Alnoor College, a MA in Islamic Studies from Pakistan University, and a PhD in Islamic Studies from Om Durman University, Sudan. Author of “The Prophet’s Wife: Aisha”, “Asma’ Bent Omais,” “The History of Eve,” and “A Comparative Study: Women’s Work and Status in Islam and Other Religions.” She is a spiritual Leader, a humanitarian activist, and a member of the Sufi Women Dialogue Group. She is an awarded speaker on Islamic subjects and women’s issues nationally and internationally.
