Michael Useem, Ph.D. is a Professor of Management and Director of the Center for Leadership and Change Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In this role, he helps leaders develop the capabilities required for making good and timely decisions in unstable and stressful environments, in moments when leadership really matters. He is the author of several books on leadership, including “The Leadership Moment: Nine True Stories of Triumph and Disaster and Their Lessons for Us All.” He is also author of “Leading Up: How to Lead Your Boss So You Both Win.” Michael holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan and a M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University.
