Dr. Azizah al-Hibri will be speaking at the upcoming sixth bi-annual International Legal Ethics Association conference, taking place at City University London on July 10-12th. The topic of discussion will be “Faith, Values and Lawyering in the 21st Century: Failure of the Compartmentalization Approach.” The conference attracts a large international audience including leading scholars and practitioners from the main jurisdictions. The atmosphere of the conference is open and inclusive. It is attended by academics from a range of disciplines, by practising lawyers and regulators. The format allows for a third of the time in each session to be devoted to discussion of the session themes by the audience.
