The Council on Foreign Relations Tenth Religion and Foreign Policy Workshop

On May 24 and 25, 2016 KARAMAH Founder Dr. Azizah al-Hibri will participate at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Tenth Religion and Foreign Policy Workshop.
The workshop brings together congregational and lay leaders, scholars of religion, and representatives of faith-based organizations from across the country for conversations on pressing international concerns with policymakers, CFR fellows, and other experts.
The workshop will open on Tuesday evening with U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom David N. Saperstein. On Wednesday, the workshop will discuss the global migration and refugee crisis, natural resource scarcity and global security, and the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign.
Attendees will have the chance to participate in two smaller interactive discussion group sessions.
The workshop begins on Tuesday May 24 at 5:30 p.m. and concludes on Wednesday, May 25 at 4:30 p.m.
