Qasim Rashid, Esq. is KARAMAH'S Director of Civil Rights and Policy. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a juris doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law. He is also a visiting fellow at Harvard University’s School of Islamic Studies. Qasim is the author of three books on Islam and human rights. His published work also appears in TIME Magazine, The New York Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic, Salon, USA Today, CNN, Daily Beast, Huffington Post, NPR, among several other national and international outlets. He is an avid runner and dreams of one day walking on another planet.
