\n\t\t\tAbout Dr. Hosn Abboud\t<\/h2>\n\t

Dr. Hosn Abboud is a lecturer at the American University of Beirut, specializing in:<\/p>\n

  • Women’s Issues and Qur’anic Interpretation<\/li>\n
  • Modern Arabic Feminist Writings<\/li>\n
  • Islamic Feminism<\/li>\n
  • Women’s Roles in Dialogue, Peacebuilding, and Social<\/li>\n
  • Transformation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dr. Abboud has lectured at numerous universities across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.<\/p>\n

    In addition to her academic work, she is a member of the Lebanese Association of Women Researchers (Bahithat), a co-founder of “The Path of Mary,” an interfaith dialogue movement, and a member of the Beirut Ethics Colloquia.<\/p>\n

    Her civic engagement includes successfully lobbying the Beirut municipality (2010) to rehabilitate a public staircase in her neighborhood, addressing pollution and improving public space access.<\/p>\n
