Ms. Abdulaleem wrote on the White House blog about her personal experiences with discrimination as a hijab-wearing Muslim-American woman, while&nbsp;representing the Office of Administration in issues such as equal employment opportunity compliance and fiscal and appropriation law. \u201cOutside of work, Abdulaleem serves as president of KARAMAH, a nonprofit group based in Washington which provides accessible legal scholarship to Muslims and non-Muslims about issues related to Islamic law, family law, and civil rights law.
