The law declares that any court decision will be considered void if it relies \u201cin whole or in part on any foreign law, legal code or system that would not grant the parties affected by the\u2026decision the same fundamental liberties, rights and privileges granted under the United States and Kansas constitutions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The real target of the law goes unnamed. \u201cThis [bill] doesn\u2019t say \u2018Sharia law,\u2019\u201d Republican State Senator Chris Steineger said in a speech that condemned the legislation for discriminating against Muslims, \u201cbut that\u2019s how it was marketed back in January and all session long\u2014and I have all the e-mails to prove it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenation.com\/article\/archive\/true-story-sharia-american-courts\/\">View Article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By: Abed Awad, Esq.
