Executive Director Rahmah A. Abdulaleem, Esq. moderated a discussion on with alumnae from KARAMAH’s Law & Leadership Summer Program (LLSP) that discussed how the program came about, the goals of the program, and how this program has encouraged Muslim women to play more active roles in their communities. LLSP, a nearly 20-year old educational program, empowers Muslim women to address stigma and patriarchy, combat stereotypes and racism, and engage local community members, Muslim and non-Muslim, in discussions about gender equity. Panelists will also discuss the importance of Muslim female leaders in communities around the world.
