Now Accepting Applications For LLSP 2025
The 2025 program is designed for Virtual participation. The Virtual segment will be daily Zoom lectures and panel discussions that will take place between July 18 - July 27, 2025. The classes for this segment of the program will be Virtual to provide for greater access to participants in both the U.S and internationally.
Law & Leadership Summer Program 2025
KARAMAH's Law and Leadership Program offers aspiring Muslim women leaders Islamic legal education and leadership development. Through workshops, seminars, and site visits, participants gain skills, knowledge and connections. This opportunity will be held virtually!

KARAMAH’s authentic, yet innovative research in Islamic jurisprudence is the source of the knowledge base essential to the promotion of the rights of Muslim women, and human rights for all, in an Islamic context.
Our Programs
KARAMAH has worked to develop intensive and innovative educational programs that provide Muslim women with the tools and skills they need to become dynamic leaders in their communities. After graduating from KARAMAH’s programs, alumnae have returned to their communities to serve as leaders, to share their knowledge, and to work for positive change in their communities. Through their efforts, and with ongoing support from KARAMAH, our impact is felt by hundreds more women around the world.
Law & Leadership Summer Programs
KARAMAH’s Law and Leadership Summer Program (LLSP) brings together a select group of Muslim women from around the world to study and to learn from each other and from top professors.
Law & Leadership Global Workshops
KARAMAH conducts workshops in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and North Africa, and occasionally works with local partners to provide workshops for specific groups.
Continuing Legal Education
KARAMAH is dedicated to providing attorneys, community advocates, and the general public with practical and participatory programs related to Islamic Law and legal issues facing the Muslim Community.
