Wafae Bouzegta is Karamah EU’s Vice-President and also one of its founding members. She moreover serves as a legal expert to the team whenever relevant. Besides her experience as a lawyer specialized in labor law, she gained valuable field expertise in countering hostility and discrimination affecting Muslims while being active in mediating between school boards and students in cases of racism and discrimination. She has also been advising students and/or parents about possible ways of action in such cases. Her double study background in Law and in Human Resources Management allows her to bring in important insights relating to organizational, logistical and administrative matters of Karamah EU’s administration as an organization. She is currently employed as a senior HR advisor in the health care sector.
