Ms. Naurin Khaliq is KARAMAH’s financial guru, and has already served on KARAMAH’s board for several years. She is a results-driven leader with over 25 years of experience working within highly complex and dynamic organizations. Ms. Khaliq exhibits admirable flexibility in a challenging environment, while providing high-quality results.

Ms. Khaliq is currently serving as Vice President, Controller at PenFed, a non-profit credit union headquartered in McLean, VA. She holds extensive knowledge and experience in her field, which includes mortgage loans and mortgage-backed securities. Ms. Khaliq also has a solid foundation in financial services industry accounting and financial reporting.

Ms. Khaliq is in charge of all of KARAMAH’s financial matters, and has significant experience in project execution, leading and delivering complex engagements related to regulatory reporting, including establishing appropriate reporting models, evaluating operational controls and processes, and identifying opportunities for improved accuracy and efficiency over operations.

Ms. Khaliq has superb interpersonal and communication skills, with experience interacting effectively with every constituency of KARAMAH, and has demonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and lead others to attain success and achievement of goals.

Ms. Khaliq holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from George Mason University and a Master of Science in Accounting from American University. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Virginia.
