KARAMAH is dedicated to providing attorneys, community advocates, and the general public with practical and participatory programs related to Islamic Law and legal issues facing the Muslim Community. As a part of this initiative, we are working with experienced legal professionals to provide quality Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses that address issues faced by attorneys representing Muslim clients in U.S. Courts.

KARAMAH has conducted a series of CLE’s on domestic violence in the Muslim Community. These CLE’s were open to attorneys and other court advocates, social workers, and therapists representing victims of domestic violence in various capacities. Participants were engaged in subjects ranging from cultural sensitivity to advocating for Muslim victim’s rights in the courtroom.  Each of these CLE offered two (2) hours of credit to attorneys.

For more information on our Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses, please contact us.
