Hassan Ghaziri is a professor in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), having held teaching and research positions at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Kyoto University, INSEAD (Fontainebleau-France), and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ( Lausanne-EPFL). He is the president of the Makassed University of Beirut since 2022 and a scientific consultant at LRE-EPFL. He co-authored the book "Knowledge Management," published by Pearson and widely used in academic curricula, in addition to authoring over 50 papers in international journals.

Prof. Ghaziri also led the Beirut Research and Innovation Center (BRIC), fostering collaboration with EPFL to advance non-invasive diagnostic technologies in cardiology and neurology and enhance landmine detection methods using AI techniques. Furthermore, he presides over FOMP, a Swiss foundation dedicated to facilitating interdisciplinary studies exploring the complex dynamics between Muslim and European societies.
