LLSP 2026 hybrid program
KARAMAH's Law and Leadership Program offers aspiring Muslim women leaders with a unique Islamic legal education and leadership development experience. Through workshops, seminars, and site visits, participants gain skills, knowledge and connections. KARAMAH is excited to announce that the 2026 LLSP program will be designed as a hybrid model of virtual learning and in person participation in Washington, D.C. to take place during the last two weeks of July 2026. To be placed on an interest list to get information when the application period opens

Our Programs
KARAMAH has worked to develop intensive and innovative educational programs that provide Muslim women with the tools and skills they need to become dynamic leaders in their communities. After graduating from KARAMAH’s programs, alumnae have returned to their communities to serve as leaders, to share their knowledge, and to work for positive change in their communities. Through their efforts, and with ongoing support from KARAMAH, our impact is felt by hundreds more women around the world.
Law & Leadership Summer Programs
KARAMAH’s Law and Leadership Summer Program (LLSP) brings together a select group of Muslim women from around the world to study and to learn from each other and from top professors.
Law & Leadership Global Workshops
KARAMAH conducts workshops in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and North Africa, and occasionally works with local partners to provide workshops for specific groups.
Continuing Legal Education
KARAMAH is dedicated to providing attorneys, community advocates, and the general public with practical and participatory programs related to Islamic Law and legal issues facing the Muslim Community.
Thought Leader Lecture Series
Join KARAMAH’s Thought Leader Lecture Series, a dynamic bi-monthly online program featuring leading scholars and practitioners exploring pressing issues in Islamic law, leadership, gender justice, and community empowerment. Each session offers fresh insights, meaningful dialogue, and the opportunity to learn directly from experts shaping contemporary thought.
