Prof. Marie Failinger

Prof. Marie A. Failinger is a professor of law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN. She is a former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law and Religion and former interim dean at Hamline University School of Law. In addition to publishing numerous articles and book chapters regarding human rights, poverty law, and constitutional law, she has co-edited Feminism, Law and Religion (Ashgate Press.)

Prof. Failinger has been involved in many professional and community organizations relating to law and human rights, including the American Association of Law Schools, the Council on American Islamic Relations-MN chapter, Church Innovations, Central MN Legal Services, the Infinity Project, the National Equal Justice Library, Minnesota Women Lawyers, the American Indian Policy Center, and the Journal of Lutheran Ethics.
